INCLUDE FARMLINK IN YOUR LEGACY

Feed families into the future with an estate gift.
A planned (or legacy) gift offers an opportunity to make an impact in the future. By creating a will and including The Farmlink Project in your estate plans, you can help feed families and heal the planet beyond your lifetime.
Smart estate planning can also help protect you and your family’s financial future by generating a charitable estate tax deduction and tax savings.
Below are a few suggestions to support The Farmlink Project through future giving. We deeply appreciate gifts of any size.
Gifts in a will or trust
Leaving a gift in your will or trust — also called a bequest — is a popular type of planned gift. A bequest can be used to designate a specific amount of money or a percentage of your estate to The Farmlink Project. A bequest gives you the opportunity to implement a donation in your will or trust now while allowing you to make changes at any time should you ever need the assets
during your lifetime.
Beneficiary Designation
An alternative to a charitable bequest is to designate The Farmlink Project as the beneficiary of certain of your assets. A beneficiary designation provides for the direct transfer of certain assets upon death without the need for a probate process or joint ownership. Examples of assets that may use beneficiary designations include 401(k)s, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), life
insurance policies, and other bank and investment accounts. Designating The Farmlink Project as a beneficiary to your assets may also help your heirs avoid unwanted taxes by providing your estate with federal and state tax deductions.
Beneficiary designations are an option for the planned giving of the following financial assets, which is typically done online or on paper through a “change of beneficiary” form from the institution housing the asset.
