Meet Our New CEO: Eliza Blank

In August, we said goodbye to our long-time cofounder, Ben Collier, as he began his journey at Stanford Business School. After a six-month global CEO search, we found our match: Eliza Blank.

Eliza founded the houseplant company The Sill, transforming plant ownership from a niche hobby into an accessible lifestyle. She’s the reason your friend proudly calls themselves a “plant parent.” Now, Eliza is bringing everything she learned at The Sill—logistics, brand-building, education, and community—and applying it to how people access fresh, healthy food.

With federal food assistance facing historic disruptions, Eliza’s expertise is more important than ever. In our conversations with her, we’ve focused not only on expanding Farmlink’s impact, but also on fundamentally changing how charitable food is shared and received.

I knew Eliza was someone I wanted to work with after our second meeting, when she texted me:"Here’s the thing: I want to solve a hugely important problem, and I genuinely believe this team is smart enough to figure it out—and bold enough to actually do it."

Want to meet Eliza for yourself? Come to our (virtual) community event: Our Table: A Farmlink Community Gathering

Not only will you get the chance to meet our new CEO, but our team will also be live discussing 2025 milestones and answering your questions.
